TORQUE THRUST II WHEELS PICS PAGE

These are the wheels I use for cruising and regular street driving. They are Torque Thrust II's by American Racing and I really like the way they look. Gives the GN a modern yet nostalgic look all at the same time!  I went with 15x6 in the front and 15x7 in the rear.  Tires are BFG radials all around with 215/65 fronts and 275/60 Drag Radial rears. I probably should have gone with 8" wheels in the rear but was concerned about clearance problems as my car sits REAL low!  I am not a big fan of the all wheel no sidewall look with 16" wheels so that is why I am running 15" wheels.  It works for me and I am real happy with the way they fit on my GN. Traction was a problem with regular T/A radials in the rear so I recently switched to some Drag Radials. For serious racing I have my alternate set of wheels and tires!

The above pics were taken with 255/60 15 T/A radials on the rear.  I have since switched to 275/60 15 Drag Radials that are 28" tall and really fill out the wheelwell.  Below are some pics to show the difference.  You will have to change the driven speedo gear when going to a tire this tall.

No rubbing on the right side whatsoever, this is on a 7" wide rim

I love the way this looks!

On the left side I had a bit of tire rub on the inner frame when taking sharp corners so I used a 3/16" spacer on this side
