 WELD WHEELS PHOTO PAGE

This is our Street/Strip wheel and tire setup. Weld Draglites, 15x4 on the front with M/T 26x7.50 tires and 15x7 with 3.5" backspacing on the rear with Hoosier Quick Time Pros 27.50x10.50's. These tires are basically racing slicks with a couple of grooves cut in them to make a DOT "legal" tire. Not sure how the police really feel about them but so far so good as far as the "law" goes. I do use them on the street when I want that racy look. Actually this combo doesn't handle too bad and I always try to keep an eye on the weather as I don't want to try out their wet weather capabilities!  Nothing will beat you from a stoplight with these babies on! Serious traction for sure. Best 60 ft with these tires has been a 1.74 with a low boost launch. Click on the photos to see the full size version.
